No, its not that I don’t see the humor. Obviously that’s pretty apparent, Devil. I mean it’s only funny to the point where you realize that people actually believe that we are “deluding” our children with scientific reality. So, what i mean is. What the hell is wrong with THOSE people. Didn’t realize that wasn’t clear.
I can hardly wait for “The Persistent Meance of Captain Galileo”… and isn’t today the anniversary of his recanting? Poor bastard – sorry he had to undergo that stupidity.
But I came across this wonderful quote today:
Those who claim for themselves to judge the truth are bound to possess a criterion of truth. This criterion, then, either is without a judge’s approval or has been approved. But if it is without approval, whence comes it that it is truthworthy? For no matter of dispute is to be trusted without judging. And, if it has been approved, that which approves it, in turn, either has been approved or has not been approved, and so on ad infinitum.
Sextus Empiricus (c. 160-210 AD)
And still – 1800 years later – we rattle on together – we logicians who believe in science and those with faith. It is the continuing catastrophe of us humans.

“What the hell is wrong with people.”
People have a sense of humor.

HAPPY DARWIN DAY!
How many ID proponents does it take to screw in a light bulb?
We don’t know because they still haven’t figured out how to do it.

That’s a horrible oversimplification, of course.
