Agreed! My first name is xian/biblical, and has nothing whatsoever to do with my personal beliefs and everything to do with my mother’s like of it. I know some people make the effort to change their names to fit their belief system, but that’s way too much trouble for me (plus, I like my first name – and I’ve had it all my life so far!).

Oh noes! I guess that means I really am a xian no matter what I don’t believe in!

What this is first and foremost is an illegal breech of tax law, laws that are already ridiculously generous to churches. To clearly articulate, Obama’s name (I dare not type the entire thing for fear of being called intolerant) has Islamic Origins. However the origins of one’s name shouldnt say anything about a person. I do think it is important however, in the name of honesty, not to be tempted into a name calling game by this. In reality this story has nothing to do with “race” not that there is any proof of at least. Likewise, we have no evidence for inbreeding amongst the congregation. Let’s not take away from the real negative aspects of these people – breaking tax law and drawing false lines of comparison.

Mmmm, rapture cake! I hope rapture cake is not shitty day-old sponge cake. (Somehow, I suspect that “rapture cake” has as much substance as the”cake” my sister served her Raggedy Ann doll at her “tea parties” when she was 6.)

I know that when a lot of people type “LOL” they don’t really LOL out loud. In this instance, Our Lady, I did indeed LOL and I thank you for making my day. And, yes, like it our not, “rapture cake” will now be a permanent part of my lexicon.

If stupid like this did burn, we could break our dependence on foreign oil forever. Unfortunately, I suspect the stench would be unbearable.
