The new presidential coins have “In god we trust” on them, it’s just inscribed into the side of the coin. I wish they didn’t though.

Someone forwarded an e-mail to me that said I should refuse to accept the new Dollar coin as it does not have “In God We Trust” inscribed on it. I told them I was going to get some, just in case some born again asshole asks for a donation.

I agree with you; the “blueprint” letter is whiney, trite and disingenuous. Your letter is much more succinct and honest and poignant.

Honestly, In God We Trust has (further) shown itself to be the divisive organization it is. They’re probably only preaching to the converted with this ridiculous billboard (although the FFRF was probably preaching to the choir with their billboard as well.)
