Yes, such a source of energy would probably be very evident. It would probably be as visable as the sun itself. The Earth is flattened by the sins of mankind! Wow, my question is where is “fags eat poop” on that list?

Also Id like to reveal my secret identity as jimmy dean. I have posted on this forum under that name before, and enjoyed it untill I send a violent message to “Revenant”. Of course, I was wrong and Revenant was correct – there is big money in the global warming politics of fear. Among others, the nuclear industry stands to benefit tremendously from all the carbon panic. Now some would tout it as “green” source of electricity. They are largely financing Mr. Obama’s campaign, and he supports giving out more subsidies that would be better off given to true renewbles. Now I do believe in the GW theory, but disagree with the fearmongering and opportunistic moves that waste tax dollars.
–Of course this is neither here nor there as far as this post or even this forum goes, but i felt the need to come and apoogize to Revenant and acknowledge my past ignorance on this subject.

Megachurches, sure, they should pay taxes. So should every other church. Lady I work with today said that her church, which is local, takes in about 40k a week. That’s 2.08 million dollars a year. And I live in the bible belt, with a church on every corner. There are bigger churches, and smaller, but I’d say that churches in Tennessee (my state, unfortunately) take in several billion a year. And yet they aren’t taxed? Maybe we atheists should start our own religion. Why shouldn’t we get some benefit out of this?

Sorry karen. I meant that if megachurches had to pay taxes, perhaps it would get some of the tax burden off of the regular people (because you know government isn’t going to take responsibility for their own spending practices).

If the megachurches paid their share, perhaps taxes on us would be lower. That would mean less families in debt to the IRS.

Forgive me for not explaining. My mind was going faster than my fingers.
