Tag, “You’re It”

Well, it has been a few days since anything has been posted. I suggest that we play tag. Here is a youtube that I found particularly funny. I hope you enjoy it.

Now it’s your turn to find something to post. Anything will do. Funny, irreverant, nice, it matters not. PZ at Pharyngula has a particularly funny clip. Also, just a comment on how you’re dealing with the season is OK as well.
And a public service reminder. If you’re flying, pay close attention to the parking lots.
We have been experiencing some continuing problems with yours and our comments making it through. Very few comments are ever eliminated without a warning and a good asshatting first. So, if your comment is not posted in a few hours try again.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what schitzophrenic word salad sounds like, here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dC7WdcgAR4E
Christmas is going alright so far. The stress of the fall semseter is finally over, and I’ve been relaxing by baking cookies. Yesterday I made strawberry jam thumbprints and snickerdoodles. Today I’m making iced sugar cookies and ginger spice crackles.
Not looking forward to my family Christmas. My uncle is so loud and obnoxious it gives me a headache. My mom’s family is highly conservative. I always end up arguing with someone about gay marriage or separation of church and state.

For the moment, Jimmer, I’ll just thank you that pic…
is that a “No door coupe model” (the camel)…how many liters engine?
…and of course….who cleans the parking lot?
That Xmas vid is LOL hilarious…
but now, I’m hungry; and it’s off to the kitchen for some ‘vittles’.
“No…not the ‘Tender Vittles cat food!”
“Maybe Meow Mix?” “Now I’m thinking of that old comercial tune…you know…with the dog complaining about not being able to forget the “Meow” tune…
and, of course, followed by Dawkins’ ‘Herding Cats’ reference!
Pardon me folks, I worked on a lot of VERY secular, custom, Xmas cards lately…and my brain probably got a bit fried in the process!
Actually, I’m doing quite well…no family to run around to, etc. They’re far enough away, that I’m…safe? I’m just looking forward to lots of quiet, stay at home in my cave time; right through the Winter Solstice [Sun Mythology] celebration!
I AM looking forward to the GifS Xmas Eve…most probably, just as a commenter though…with some appropriate article/video links thrown in, or whatever…as is my wont!
“I wont, I wont!”

Shouldn’t that be “Tag, you’re it”?

Revenant- Nasty, that is. Just too common, Parents killing children for no good reason. Really, Christianity should get a new catchphrase, like “Pro-Life, Anti-Babies”
And for the new links thing, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3JCESdFNyw
Almost as crazy as God, that is.

How about some more Bad Religion
I already wrote that my family and I have been banned from communicating to my Baptist niece and whackadoo husband for merely asking them to please curtail their proseltyzing mail and email to me. These xians sure know how to spread xmas cheer and love.
My daughter has downgraded him from asshat to douchebag. (and she usually is not one to name-call)

Thanks you guys, most of those made my day!
Well, except the one about the kids, which is sick and always makes me angry, so I didn’t look at it.
My own xmas has been lacked any amount of anxiety in the build-up to the actual event. I just don’t feel motivated like usual. I don’t care, to be honest, which is weird for me. I’m generally excited about it all. Mostly, I’m glad for a few days off of work and time with my husband and kids.
Some of my favorite songs, because most of my atheist YouTube links have been “Video Removed By User” lately – they pretty much sum up both me and my worldview:
Dear God – XTC
No New Tale to Tell – Love and Rockets
Safety Dance – Men Without Hats
Beds Are Burning – Midnight Oil
Man That You Fear – Marilyn Manson
I hope it goes through and doesn’t get weird on me. Multiple links may get it snagged.

It just struck me that I posted a lot of 80s songs. Heh. I’m 25, so I’m really too young to remember most of the 80s, but I love the music. This is appropriately mortifying to my dear husband who is in his early 302 and remembers them quite well. He is trying to break me of the 80s-habit, but it’s not really working.
Also, Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” should have made it onto that list; sorry.

how about the Eric Idle FCC song

Not related to religion, but still funny as hell.

Hope you guys didn’t see this yet. My brother showed me it, and I love it: George Bush singing “Sunday Bloody Sunday”.
Tomorrow my boyfriend arrives here (to New Jersey) from Ontario. He’ll be here until January 5th, for the holidays. Oh, I can’t wait! I haven’t seen him since August. There’s nothing really going on holiday-wise, but we’re going to a concert this Wednesday (his first concert. With my favorite band, Thursday.) He’s a little nervous, but I know it’ll be a great time!

Heh, saw that awhile ago on AlbinoBlackSheep. Although nowhere near as good as Bloody Sunday, here is another Bush song.
