Fuck the orphans, this is about hating fags!

Bob posted about this last month. Well, the fuckers went and did it.

Boston Catholic Charities Halts Adoptions

Yeah, we wouldn’t want people who actually want children, and want to raise them in a loving home, to actually get a chance to do so. We would rather punish the children and not help them at all than allow that to happen.

“This is a sad day for neglected and abandoned children,” [Gov.] Romney said in a statement. “It’s a mistake for our laws to put the rights of adults over the needs of children.”

Right, Mr. Gubner. You hit it exactly. It’s the laws granting freedoms to those sinful gay people, freedom to adopt and raise a loving family, that are to be shunned here… Not the millenia-old hate-doctrine of a bunch of pedophiles in dresses and silly hats.

Meanwhile, across town, Mary McCarthy is getting into her sixth pregnancy from her drunken husband (in the missionary position, at least). You see, the McCarthys don’t use condoms, which would be bad, and these are good Catholics. No, they don’t want more children, and in fact they are going to have to put this new one up for adoption (if it lives… Mary has had complications before, and now she is 45). But the Catholic Charity across town won’t take this new child. Nope. They’ve closed down shop on the whole “loving the children” thing.

You see, their backwards-ass ideology is more important than those homeless babies. They’d rather stand up to the “gravely immoral” act of letting a child be raised in a gay household, because children placed in such homes “would be deprived of the experience of either fatherhood or motherhood.”

Yeah, that’s right. All over the rest of America, kids are raised in perfect, two-parent, heterosexual households and we wanna keep it that wa — uh… Duh. Um. Well, anyway, fag parents are bad!

I’m constantly hearing from theists about all the good religion does for the world and I’m constantly left wondering where any evidence of that is.

And finally! Here it is! THANK JESUS these kids are being denied homes. I mean being denied any kind of family is better than having them live with two fags or two dykes!

I’m sure it’s much more comfortable in those over crowded under funded group homes. Or in those oh-so-loving foster homes. And those already over loaded case workers are probably thrilled that there’s now to be more kids their guaranteed not to be able to check in on.

Thank god for keeping these kids orphans! Thank god for all the hate and fear mongering bigots of the world who prevent only certain people from living the American dream! Praise jesus!

Proof enough to me that it never was about the children. These people have lying down to a fine art.

  3. Bob:

What a bunch of homophobic fuckheads. Yep, didn’t take them that long, maybe about a month, to make that decision.

It NEVER ceases to amaze me. You would think that one of these days I’m going to get over the shock of it all, but every single day I hear another absurd story and my jaw hits the desk.

Lya, how’s AE coming?? Has a location been decided for sure? I’m ready to pack my bags.
But seriously, if it weren’t so damn expensive to up and move to Canada, we’d be there. Oh, and the cold. That sucks.

I was reading this today and have been angered by this all day. These people would rather orphans have NO HOME before allowing them to be placed in a home with two people who would love them and care for them. The catholic church must hate children. Catholic priests molesting kids and trying to cover it up, and now orphans being prevented from having a happy and stable life. They want to keep people from having abortions, yet they also don’t want the kids adopted unless it is THEIR way.

It’s time to shut these people down and say who gives a shit about their organization and hopefully secular adoption agencies will take over. We don’t need Catholic charities and it can be looked at as a good thing they will be involved in one less state. However, what will happen to all the children already entangled in catholic charities orphanages etc?

“The world was very different when Charities began this ministry at the threshold of the twentieth-century,” the Rev. J. Bryan Hehir, president of Catholic Charities, said in a joint statement with trustees chairman Jeffrey Kaneb.

“You could discriminate against people of color and gays without the government breathing down your neck” the good Reverend continued.

“The world changed often and we adapted the ministry to meet changing times and needs. At all times we sought to place the welfare of children at the heart of our work.”

“Take for instance, our young boys outreach program. Our priests would spend one-on-one, man-on-boy quality time with the children.
It was our own version of ‘no child left behind’ we called ‘no child’s behind left behind’.

“But now, we have encountered a dilemma we cannot resolve,” they said.

“Until we get one more Catholic right-winger on the Supreme Court. Then we will be able to overcome it.”

In the United States alone, more than 10 million people have one or more lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender parent(s) and the only problem most have is the discrimination and bigotry they face by homophobic people. Here is a link to a really neat site that shows just how “damaged” these kids are. COLAGE

  8. jimmer:

Weren’t the catholics also denying non-catholics adoptions in other states? Or was it Baptists denying Catholics? I do not know what has gotten into people. Is it possible they are terminally stupid? What a bunch of lousy humans hereby I will refer to them as homers. Ignorant, stupid, lying, worthless, retards, Homers. Maybe someone with more compassion will take over afterall there is a need and that need will be filled by someone. And the RCC will not be in line to be part of it.

  9. jimmer:

Here is the article I was thinking of. How do these people get to have this much authority over such issues? It is a matter that says the churches are not bigoted because they dislike (hate) everyone equally. These are just more reasons that we can not let faith-based anythings to have public finances. The article is Catholics denied adoptions.

I call them knuckle-draggers, and it pains me that we have our fair share of them here in liberal Massachusetts.

  11. Unbecoming Levity:

Better No Parents Than Gay Parents

Sorry little Johnny and Janey, but you’ll have to remain in foster care or an orphanage, because as long as the law says we have to allow gay couples to adopt, we’re not going to perform any adoptions at all. So says Boston Catholic Charities, provi…

  12. King Retard:

Religious organizations should have no part in determining adoptions since they can’t drag their brains out of the dark ages.

  13. Sean:

Guess what, buckos? This is the way the fuckers are hoping to win in 2006:

Drives to ban gay adoption heat up in 16 states

Republicans are hoping gay adoption will draw voters to polls the way gay marriage did in 2004, say analysts.

They’re doing it again. Pick a wedge issue, exploit people’s bigotry, fan the flames, win elections. Meanwhile, they cut social services for the very dumbasses who rush off to the polls to make sure “none of them gay peoples kin adopt!”

If people keep falling for this shit again and again, then maybe they deserve the government they end up with.

  14. Lya Kahlo:

“If people keep falling for this shit again and again, then maybe they deserve the government they end up with. ”

    And Bingo was his name-o.

You have to admit though, the more xians tells us their so full of love and joy because of god, the most it shows what complete and total liars they are. This is nothing but flat out hate mongering. So, natch, it comes from the religious.

[...] What?? How is killing your wife the same as being allowed to do something about an unwanted pregnancy — especially if that pregnancy could lead to seriously fucking up your own life and the life of the (eventual) child? A husband does not have to carry his wife in his belly for 9 months and raise her and feed her, whether or not she is a deformed product of incestuous rape. He in fact, in many cases, can abandon her most anytime he wants, regardless of whether she can fend for herself when he is gone. A woman cannot abandon her child after it has come to term. She must deal with it in some way. And don’t give me the adoption angle, folks… When Catholic charities themselves are halting adoptions, theists have little righteousness to tout. [...]
