Nothing is quite as enjoyable as pissing off the Godsters and getting them to lash out — in a loving and Xian way, of course. Recently, we’ve been getting some angry friends of God posting comments here — e.g, “Chelsee” posts “what is wrong w/you ppl these dayz yall have problems GO TO CHURCH!!”, and “John” says that “You people have problems. Misguided. No life. Find one. Give all you have to God, and you won’t regret one moment of it.”

Part of the gratification comes at getting under their skin, of course. But the other part comes from the idiocy and barely clothed self-hatred of their comments. I guess it makes sense that you embrace the idiotic myth of big invisible daddy in the sky if you think you would have “no life” without “giving all you have to God”. The nihilistic self-loathing idiocy of that speaks for itself. We embrace our real lives, God-boy; we don’t think they’re meaningless without cosmic daddy. If you think so little of yourself and your life without God, get some therapy and paxil. Or just grow up, and stop looking for the meaning of life in Big Daddy’s approval.
